Jpgs play well from another source on my DVD player. If I edit them in CS6, and save as a jpg, they will not play on my DVD player. How can I resolve this

I have scanned slides to Jpgs. They play well vis flash drive on my DVD player. After editing them on Cs6 and saving them as Jpgs, they will not play on my Dvd play. How do I resolve this?
