I have a licence for CS6 Software NOT the new CC software. The only options i can see available in the CC app is for the new CC versions of the software. I tried clicking on the previous versions option as suggested by the troubleshooter, but none of the software I want to install is available in the list.

Depending on the OS version of your new computer you may not have a choice but to upgrade.
What OS is the new computer? Captivate 3 will not run on Windows 8 (and possibly not even on Windows 7).

You haven't given us enough info to go with. If you had a full version
of any product of CS6 or prir then if you get a message that your
license has expired, you need to ignore it and ask for help here. There
is a solution to this problem.
You say Word 7, what has this got to do with Adobe products? Both
products are mutually exclusive and they work independently. You can
copy and paste from each other in text format and in Rich-Text format.
So if you still need help with this then please reply to Nancy's post so
that further help can be given by us, volunteers. We have nothing to do
with Adobe and so our reply is just the suggestion not the definitive
solution.

I don't have a copy of the Apple authoring rules, but in their marketing materials they always connect "Mutli-Touch" books with books created with iBooks Author. I don't think it's precluding EPUB 3 files. I think they're saying if you're using iBooks Author, you must at least be using version 2.1.3 or later.

When I originally tried to reinstall I was directed to a trial CS5 site, which asked for my serial number. When I entered the number I received a pop up which stated my number was vaild, but that it did not apply to any of the products listed in a box below the serial number. The products were for CS3, 4 and Adobe Design Premium and Standard. None of them were for CS5. So of course the number would not apply to any of those listed.
Looking on line for any similar problems brought me to this forum.
I had no problems loading CS5 onto my old machine, everything worked perfectly, but that was 5+ years ago.

You're welcome, and I agree, it should at least warn you if it comes up short of RAM.
In researching a bit for my answer above, I set out to try the filter on a number of images, some of which should have been "no brainers" for the filter to process, and I have to say, for me it did what it did for you on a couple of occasions. It seems to have trouble with the transition between sharp areas and their edges that border on quite smooth backgrounds.
I hope Adobe continues to refine the operation of this filter.

Photoshop patterns and normally stored in sets the set files have an extension of .pat. You may also add individual patterns using menu Edit>Define Pattern. In some Photoshop Pattern dialog you will see a little gear icon to open a Fly-Out menu in that menu there is a entry for Photoshop Preset Manager. The are also other ways to get into the Preset manager. In the preset manager you can manage many types of presets. Using its pull-down menu select patterns. You can Load an save patterns sets. To save a set tou heed to hilifht the paterns yoy want to include in the set. You can also delete and rename patterns.

I finally installed Adobe Lightroom CC app successfully, but Photoshop CC did not load due the 'download appears corrupted'. No other help is offered except to try again in a few minutes which I have several times to to no avail. Code U43M1D204 was provided.

From isapi log errors would appear tomcat at the CF end is not responding to the iis tomcat connector. Likely you need to make some adjustments or tune values to server.xml in cfusion\runtime\conf.
What values? This CF11 blog entry may help since the details also apply to CF10.

Keep in mind when making adjustments to server.xml matching changes need to be applied to workers.properties in config\wsconfig\N.
You could also do some monitoring with free jdk tools like jconsole to help know what tuning values would suit the type of load best. Java and tomcat monitoring tho is time and effort so reply on thread if you want to know more about how to do monitoring.

Downloaded trial on one adobe id but have it bought and uninstalled on another adobe id, how do i just transfer over the licence.
So a few months ago I bought the subscription to After Effects, and due to a virus could not complete the install. Spent well over 8 hours of trouble shooting over a period of two days (i am a student) and could not get it to install. An Adobe customer support person even offered help and remotely accessed my computer and tried everything she could, no solution was found. so I have waited, and have been paying 20$ a month for a uninstalled program. I finally got tired of it and paid to have 101 viruses removed from my computer. I get on today to see if this would work and it did! however it downloaded the trial version from my one Adobe Id and not the full version. My other Adobe ID i have forgotten the specifics of the Username and the password. can anyone offer some help to recovering my username and my password or perhaps a way to to transfer my subscription over to the Adobe ID that I do know?

Re: Cannot delete rejected photos
a much easier solution (mentioned somewhere in this forum) is create an empty folder on the disk in question, using the Finder, and then throw that folder in the trash. For some reason LR cant put files in the trash if another program hasn't put something there first. You need to do this after every reboot.
